Presidential aspirant Manny Pacquiao on Friday said that giving cash to Batangas residents in his recent visit to the province was not a move to buy votes.
"Yes, totoo po 'yan namigay tayo ng tulong, grocery, bigas, at pera na tag-iisang libo," he said in an interview.
Pacquiao said that the money he gave was something he has been doing out of 'habit'.
Bago pa magpandemya at nagdesisyon ako tumakbo namimigay ako ng ganyan mula pang 2002 hanggang ngayon, patuloy akong namimigay nga ayuda at pabahay," he added.

Pacquiao said he is using his personal money when he give cash aid.
He visited Balayan, Batangas and distributed reliefs packs to some 7,000 victims of Taal Volcano eruption.
