After almost two months of careful surveillance, a joint force from the NBI, Bureau of Customs (BOC) and Philippine Central Bank operatives found Php50-million worth of coins and at least 11 luxury cars park in a house at Barangay Laging handa, Quezon City.
Authorities are still investigating why a huge amount of money were stored in a house in Quezon City. Initial report said that the money might came from money laundering, however authorities gave the house owner 15-days to explain about a number of luxury cars and the money that have found in the area.
The house is temporarily close to give way for the investigation. At least 5 luxury cars were seen outside the house worth around P100-million.
The barangay captain explained that they don't know how those coins were stacked in the place.
