NASA: ASTEROID BIGGER THAN EIFEL TOWER IS HEADING TO EARTH'S ORBIT IN A WEEK

 A giant asteroid bigger than the Eifel Tower is heading to earth's orbit in the coming weeks, according to NASA.




It is estimated to be 1,082 foot space rock called Asteroid 4660 Nereus will come within 4.6 million miles of earth.




There's no need to panic as the rock isn't expected to impact earth. Experts is expecting the space rock will shoot past our planet at 14,700 miles per hour.





Asteroid Nereus was first spotted in 1982 by astronomer Eleanor Helin.




The huge space rock is estimated to skim past on December 11.
