The long wait is here as PLDT Inc. announced it will offer up to 10,000 Mbps internet speed. Brought to us by PLDT Home, this history-making ultra-fast home internet speed makes it at par with international standards.
To welcome the launching of its upcoming plan of up to 10,000 Mbps speeds, a series of visual spectacles were projected on the facade of Central Square, Bonifacio Global City, Saturday, November 27.
The Metaverse-themed photomapping show was also livestreamed in Davao and Cebu as the key cities to avail the service by 2022.
According to the PLDT, the new service will put the country next to first-world nations such as South Korea, Japan, Sweden, Norway, Italy, New Zealand, and the USA, in terms of the ultra-fast internet speed access.
For now the service will be available in Metro Manila but it is expected to further expansion outside Metro Manila.
"We at PLDT continue to play an active role in shaping the future of our country and leading the way towards a connected nation. We are doing all these for our north star – our customers: business owners, professionals, tech mavericks with very large homes, multiple high-bandwidth users with multiple screens," said PLDT president and CEO Alfredo Panlilio.
"And with all that life requires of them, they need the fastest home broadband powered by the fastest network. And we are more than ready to give them what they need – all 10,000 of it," he added.
