This TikTok video by a teacher that going viral is under probe for "insinuating potential child abuse action."
The Department of Education (DepEd) chief on Friday, Nov. 5, said it has ordered an investigation and she wants an appropriate sanctions to be imposed to the unnamed teacher.
A certain @leobondoclopez posted a video of himself appeared to be at a classroom where he dance and run while his hand on his hair, seemingly enticing "cute" student. The TikTok account has over 104,000 followers, but currently it has been switched to private amid the controversy.
Education Secretary Leonor Briones has ordered the agency's office in Central Luzon to look into the matter.
The video was captioned:"Kapag dumaan 'yung cute na student mo...tamang pa-cute lang."

"We remind out teachers and non-teaching personnel to always subject our words and actions, including our social media activities, to the highest degree of ethical and professional standards," the statement read.
"As teachers and public servants, we must always champion a safe and nurturing learning environment for children, where physical, verbal, sexual, and other forms of abuse and discrimination are renounced," the Education Department said.
Netizens have called out the teacher on social media for his inappropriate behavior.
