ARCHITECT VOLUNTEER TO REBUILD SIRAGAO - HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP TOO

 This Siargao based architect has offered her service to families affected by super typhoon Odette (international name Rai), the strongest typhoon to hit the country, Thursday, December 16.

Communities often needs as much help as they can get while they try to recover and rebuild after a major disaster. Since the recovery is seen so slow because of the wider damaged through out the archipelago that the national government are focusing into, Architect Tamara Juco called to her fellow architects, engineers and contractors for the donation of the construction materials such as:

• G.I roof & umbrella nails

• Common nails

• 3/4 plywoods

• Paints 

• THHN wires

• Light bulbs

• Electrical pipes

• Outlets/switches 

• Solar lights as well (heard 6 months no electricity in the island).

She said that her professional fee for consultation is free for small business and she will not do mark-ups for the materials & labor

The death toll from the strongest typhoon this year surpassed 300 on Tuesday as the total destruction remains unknown due to some impassable roads and communications are still down.
