BONGBONG MARCOS LEADS JANUARY 2022 PULSE ASIA SURVEY

 Presidential aspirant Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has sustained his lead in the latest Pulse Asia survey for presidential race which was released on Sunday, February 13. Marcos has earned 60% of respondents in the upcoming election from the result conducted from January 19-24.




"With the support of 60% of the country's registered voters who are likely to cast their ballot in May 2022, former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. would be elected as the next Philippine president if the elections took place during the survey period," Pulse Asia said in a statement on Sunday.





Meanwhile, vice president Leni Robredo still at far second with  16% of respondents, dropping down four percentage points compared to Pulse Asia's December survey.



Manila mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso and Senator Manny Pacquiao, however, tied at eight percent, while Senator Panfilo Lacson has four percent. 




Other presidential aspirants, Mr. Faisal Mangondato ha 0.3%, former Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella 0.05%, and labor leader Leody de Guzman at 0.02%.




The survey is based on a sample of 2,400 respondents aged 18 and above, with a  ± 2 percent margin of error at the 95 percent confidence level.
