A former high school basketball star who was allegedly drunk arrested by the police on Friday, April 22, after he allegedly defecating on the resort's swimming pool in Barangay Liburon, Carcar City.
Dilcer Gaviola, 20, a resident of Sitio Saimon, Barangay Can-asujan, was caught by the lifeguard on duty to have destroyed the pool's skimmer, a filter that captures floating debris before it can sink to the bottom of the pool.
He was also alleged of defecating on the ecofarm's swimming pool, according to a police report.
The incident happened at the Carcar Eco Farm Resort in Villa Anonang, Barangay Liburon at around 5:30 P.M.
The suspect is facing charges for malicious mischief. The total amount of damage was valued at around P50,000.
Gaviola used to be a basketball player of a university located in Cebu City before he was recruited in 2020 to join the varsity squad of a college in Manila.
