A most wanted man who got arrested during his birthday in Barangay Catiklan, Malay town in the province of Aklan was yet a lucky man after he was gifted with cake so he can blow a candle after his mugshot on the eve of April 19.
Members of Altavas Municipality Police decided to give Allan Barrientos Delos Angeles with a little surprise after learning that it was his 45th birthday.
In the photos shared by the Altavas Municipal Police Station, it can be seen a policeman offering a chocolate cake to the suspect with a dedication written on the cake: "Happy 45th birthday Allan."
According to reports, Delos Angeles was arrested for illegal possession of firearms and attempted murder. He did not resist during his arrest and immediately confessed to the crimes which took place in 1996.
The suspect was granted bail of PHP60,000 (around US$1,142) for the illegal possession charge and P200,000 (around US$3,807) for the attempted murder charge.
Delos Angeles reportedly posted bail the next day after spending a night in jail.
