Giving cash to his constituent is just ordinary to Narvacan, Ilocos Sur Mayor Luis 'Chavit" Singson. On his 81st birthday on June 21, he gives away cash and Air Jordan shoes via social media.
He initially announced to give away P1-million to 200 supporters subscribing to his social media channels. Each lucky person who was randomly selected received P5,000.
He thanked his supporters for their birthday wishes and said, he just wanted to make people happy.
Aside from the P5,000, Singson kept P100,000 for first prize, P60,000 for second prize, and P30,000 for third prize.
Around 24 Air Jordan shoes are also distributed for the lucky winners.
