1,500 BENEFICIARIES FOR DSWD CASH-FOR-WORK PROGRAM IN MUNTINLUPA CITY

Muntinlupa City government had the orientation for its DSWD Cash-for-Work Program that will give provisional work to 1,500 residents.



Mayor Ruffy Biazon attended the orientation of the beneficiaries of the program, an initiative of the city government through the Social Services Department, Community Affairs and Development Office, DA Extension Services Office, City Security Office, Engineering Department, Public Order and Safety Office, and People’s Coordinating Office in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development-National Capital Region.



The Cash for Work Program is a program of the City Government through the joint offices of the Social Services Department, Community Affairs and Development Office, Department of Agriculture Extension Services Office, City Security Office, Engineering Department, Public Order, and Safety Office, and People's Coordinating Office, DSWD-NCR partner.



Its goal is to provide temporary employment to Muntinlupeños to help them in their livelihood. Beneficiaries will work for 10 days under the program. Some of what they will do is clean canals and rivers and do urban gardening.



Mayor Ruffy Biazon said that they were able to promote the Livelihood and Environment Agenda of the City Government through these programs.
