President Bongbong Marcos has arrived at SM Mall of Asia Arena to watch the Gilas Pilipinas' home game against Saudi Arabia for the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers 2023, Monday, August 29.
Though he arrived at the venue late in third quarter still it can be seen he enjoyed the game.
President Marcos is seated beside Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) chairman Emeritus Manny V. Pangilinan.
This is the first sporting event for President Marcos.
However, former President Rodrigo Duterte missed the chance to cheer for Gilas Pilipinas anew after a last-minute change in plan.
Gilas Pilipinas won against Saudi Arabia, 84-46.
