Elvie Sig-Od, 44, and Angelica Sig-Od, 20, both Filipino mother and daughter in Canada died after getting stabbed in Toronto, Canada last week.
According to authorities, the attack happened in the area of Bathurst Street and Ellerslie Avenue at around 3:30 PM last August 26.
The Police arrived on the area and find the two two female victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, Godfrey Sig-Od, 46, former husband of Elvie, was arrested and appeared in court on Saturday. He was charged with two counts of second-degree murder.
According to the police, the accused was involved in an altercation with the mother and daughter.
Meanwhile, a GoFundMe page has been set up to help raise funds for the funeral, and to help bring the remains of the mother and daughter back to the Philippines.
"They do not have relatives here in Ontario to arrange their funeral, so as their pastor, I decided to ask for help to raise funds," Dolores wrote on the fund-raising website.
