The Social Security System (SSS) has released an advisory to inform the public that its online channels including its website, SSS Mobile App, and uSSSap Tayo Portal will temporarily be unavailable at this time.
According to its announcement, "SSS' servers are undergoing testing in preparation for the continuation of operations through its Business Recovery Center, as operations in its Main Data Center has been affected by the fire that occured at the UPS room of the SSS main building in Quezon City yesterday, AUgust 28, 2022."
It assured that stakeholders and all members data records are secure and were not affected by the incident.
SSS advised those with urgent queries and concerns may send their messages to the SSS' official email accounts (member_relation@sss.gov.ph, onlineserviceassistance@sss.gov.ph,prnhelpline@sss.gov.ph, ofw.relations@sss.gov.ph and social media accounts (Facebook at Philippine Social Security System - SSS; Instagram at mysssph; Twitter at PHLSSS; YouTube at MYSSSPH; and Viber at MYSSSPH Update).
