The fellow hosts of 'It's Showtime' extended support for Vhong Navarro who is now facing a rape case.
During the noontime show program episode on September 20, Vhong's co-hosts and his best friend Jhong Hilario delivered a message for the actor.
"Kuya Vhong, nandito lang kami. Kapit lang. We love you," Jhong expressed his message to Vhong.
After that, it was followed by a group hug for Vhong led by the main host Vice Ganda.
Vhong is currently in the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation after he voluntarily surrendered.
The actor is facing charges of acts of lasciviousness and rape filed by Deniece Cornejo.
Last Monday, September 19, Taguig Regional Trial Court issued an arrest warrant against him. But, Vhong is ready to cooperate with the authorities in relation to his case.
According to Vhong's statement, he has always been telling the truth and never lied. He has been consistent on all of his affidavits and revealed the truth.
It was only this July when the Court of Appeals revoked and reversed the Department of Justice's decision in 2018 and 2020 to dismiss the rape complaint filed by Deniece against Vhong Navarro.
