PAL EXPRESS TO MAKE CABIN CREW RECRUITMENT TOUR IN LUZON, VISAYAS AND MINDANAO

Hundreds of Bachelor of Science and tourism graduates and alumni of Joji Ilagan International School (JIIS) including walking applicants were applying as flight attendants.


The PAL Express, formerly named Airphil Express company wants to hire aspiring flight attendants in preparation for the return of normal operations of the airline company.


"PAL Express is actually ramping up its operations. With that, with the increase in flights we have to add manpower", said Leonides V. Peña, assistant vice president/director for inflight services and training department of PAL Express in an interview in PTV News Mindanao.

PAL Express is collaborating with JIIS. The company conducted a hiring activity in General Santos City last month.


Peña said the airline is eyeing hiring 50 applicants from the Mindanao recruitment events and hiring a total of 250 applicants nationwide.


Aside from having a pleasant personality as a qualification, there is also a height requirement: ladies 5’2, gentlemen 5’6. When it comes to educational attainment before applicants have to have a college degree but this time the airline flexed it to a second-year college level. Applicants must also be good at communicating in English.


PAL Express is planning to make this cabin crew recruitment tour of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao become a yearly event.


PAL Express is a full-service and low-cost carrier established in the Philippines.  It is a wholly owned subsidiary airline of Philippine Airlines which is under its ownership. It is PAL's regional brand, with services from its hubs in Manila, Clark, Cebu, and Davao.
