DISNEY+ WILL BE IN THE PHILIPPINES ON NOVEMBER

 Disney+ will be in the Philippines in November, Disney company announced on Thursday. 



Disney+ will be the home of movies and TV shows from Disney's iconic brands, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic and Star.



Starting on November 17, Filipinos may sign up for the streaming service and enjoy Disney's growing library of global and regional content.



 "Through Disney+ we are opening new doors of entertainment to everyone with our heritage of unparalleled storytelling, creative excellence, and cutting-edge content delivery.

We are excited that consumers in the Philippines can soon connect with their beloved characters and brands and enjoy access to some of the world's most original and iconic stories, told by the world's most talented creators," said in a statement of David Shin, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Hongkong, The Walt Disney Company.


Filipinos may avail of different subscription options such as mobile and premium plans. A mobile plan costs P159 monthly or P1,150 annually which will be accessible for smartphones and tablets. While the premium plan is P369 monthly or P2,950 annually for smart TVs, google TV, Android TV, Apple TV, and Chromecast.



Those consumers who availed of the premium plans can access high-quality viewing with four concurrent streams, and personalized recommendations and can create up to seven different user profiles per account.


While those who availed of the mobile plan will be limited to concurrent stream at once and can access in HD (720p).



The company added 1,800 films and 32,000 episodes of television shows for initial viewing.


 Consumers can sign up through DisneyPlus.com and Disney+app on November 17.
