CRISTIANO RONALDO TO LEAVE MANCHESTER UNITED BY 'MUTUAL AGREEMENT'

 Football star Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Manchester United with 'immediate effect' and it said that it was a "mutual agreement" after a serious allegations that he felt betrayed by the club.


The 37-year-old in an interview criticized manager Erik ten Hag and the club's owners, claiming they did not respect him.



"Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect.



"The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances, and wishes him and his family well for the future.




"Everyone at Manchester United remains focused on continuing the team’s progress under Erik ten Hag and working together to deliver success on the pitch," said the United in a statement.



On Tuesday, Ronaldo said that his loved for the club and fans "will never change." "However, it feels like the right time for me to seek a new challenge. I wish the team every success for the remainder of the season and for the future," he added.



Ronaldo is currently in Qatar where he is expected to play with Portugal against Ghana in their Group H match.
