A man in Valenzuela City amused social media users with his post comparing his before and after photo when he received his National ID after 16 months.
Joemar Santos Torres said that he applied for his National ID last July 1, 2021. He only received it on Monday, November 14, 2022.
"Dear PSA, pumayat na 'ko kahihintay," Torres wrote in his post, which earned over 28,000 reactions so far.
The comments section of his post was quickly flooded with different amusing reactions among netizens. Just like Torres, others have different story to share after a long time of waiting their National ID.
It was reported that their are 74-million Filipinos were registered for the National ID, only 22-million were printed, and 17 million have been delivered by the PhilPost as of October 14, 2022. This was according to the Philippine Statistic Office.
