SMART, DITO OFFERS REWARD FOR SUBSCRIBER SUCCESSFUL SIM CARD REGISTRATION

 Three telecommunications companies has offered rewards to their subscribers who successfully register their SIM cards on Tuesday.

SMART Communications Inc. said its prepaid and TNT subscribers will be able to get 3 GB free data upon completing the SIM registration process.

DITO, meanwhile, offered rewards to their subscribers who successfully register their SIM cards with 2-gigabyte (GB) data.

The company also reported over 208,000 of their subscribers who have successfully registered their SIMs as of 3 P.M. on Tuesday.

Subscribers could also go to any of the Smart and Dito stores where they could be assisted to register.

The mandatory registration of SIM cards aimed to combat text messaging fraud. 

Subscribers will have 180 days to register their SIMs or face deactivation.

Globe Prepaid, TM, GLobe, at Home Prepaid Wifi, Globe Mobile Wifi, and Globe Business prepaid subscribers have until April 26, 2023 to register. 

 Globe Telecom Inc. portal went offline on Tuesday morning as it optimizes the website for better customer experience.
