Antonio Herilo, a 61-year-old man and a resident of Batangas City decided to stay at the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) for almost three weeks after his bag containing mobile and P15,000 cash were stolen.
In an interview, Herilo told reporter Jhomer Apresto of Super Radyo dzBB that he was asleep and left his phone charging when he find out that his bag was already gone.
He said that his money was only lent by someone to pay for his supposed rent for the house while looking for a job in Metro Manila.
Based on the CCTV footage taken at the terminal, the suspect was wearing a black cap, black shirt, and black slippers and was rushing to get out of the terminal.
"Yung incident na nasilisihan ako... Tinimingan niya 'yung pag-idlip ko tsaka niya ano... Talagang kitang kita sa CCTV na tuma-timing 'yung kanyang ano," said Merilo.
