Galaxy Z fold 6 possible design leaked

Leaked Renders Reveal Potential Design of Samsung's Upcoming Foldable Phone.

Leaked images offer a glimpse into the possible design of Samsung's next foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 6. These unofficial renders, published by SmartPrix and OnLeaks, showcase a significant change in appearance compared to its predecessor.

The most striking difference is the phone's boxier design, resembling the recently launched Galaxy S24 Ultra. This replaces the softer, rounded edges of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 with a more squared-off look.

According to Smartprix, the unfolded dimensions of the Z Fold 6 are expected to be slightly shorter and wider than its predecessor, measuring 153.5 x 132.5 x 6.1mm (roughly 6 x 5.2 x 0.2 inches). The inner display is rumored to be 7.6 inches diagonally, while the outer display comes in at approximately 6.2 inches.

Beyond the design shift, the renders depict the Z Fold 6 retaining many familiar elements from the Z Fold 5, including the triple rear camera system. The placement of buttons, ports, and speakers also appears largely unchanged.

While official specifications remain unconfirmed by Samsung, Smartprix anticipates the Z Fold 6 to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset and offer memory options of 12GB and 16GB with 1TB of storage. Both screens are expected to be OLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. The camera system is rumored to consist of a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide sensor, and a 10MP telephoto sensor, with a 10MP selfie camera on the front.

With an official Unpacked event in July potentially on the horizon, including the expected launch of the Galaxy Ring, we should learn more about the Z Fold 6 directly from Samsung soon.
