PCSO Lottery Wins Under Scrutiny by Senator Tulfo.
Senator Raffy Tulfo is raising concerns about potential irregularities in Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) lottery draws.
In an interview with DZBB, the senator said that he received a list from PCSO showing a single bettor winning 20 times in a month.
"Yung PCSO nagbigay ho sa akin ng listahan...ito nga po yung sinasabi ko medyo nakakataas ng kilay, mayroon doon na isang tao nanalo ng 20 times in one month. Mayroon dun 10 times in one month," Tulfo said.
"Well maybe siguro baka magkapangalan pero still pare-pareho 'yung premyo ang pinanalunan," he added.
He also found instances of winners matching both four-digit and two-digit draws in a month but he is committed to protecting the winners' identities.
The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) will also analyze the data for accuracy.
PCSO General Manager Mel Robles promises to investigate the claims.
