A mother, daughter, and a shared dream, both passed the November 2023 Pharmacists Licensure Exam

The adage "like mother, like daughter" took on a literal meaning for Charito "Chat" Seploc and Patricia "Pat" Seploc. The mother-daughter duo defied odds when they both passed the Pharmacists Licensure Exam in November 2023.

Chat, a seasoned entrepreneur, owned a pharmacy business since 2012. To better serve her customer, she pursued a Pharmacy degree in 2017. Inspired by her mother's path, Pat followed in her footsteps, enrolling in a Pharmacy program in 2019.

Balancing motherhood, entrepreneurship, and studies was no easy feat foe Chat. She overcome personal challenges, including caring for a sick mother and a child with autism, to achieve her goal. Despite their shared career path, the Seplocs chose different universities, demonstrating their individuality while maintaining a strong bond.

Together, they navigated the rigorous review process for the licensure exam. Pat found solace and support in her mother, who provided unwavering encouragement. Their shared journey culminated in the joyous moment of passing the exam, a testament to their resilience and determination.

Seplocs aim to inspire other with their story, emphasizing the power of family support in overcoming adversity. Their journey is a living example that with dedication and mutual reliance, dreams can be transformed into reality.
