2019 Bar topnotcher Kenneth Manuel, known online as "Sir K," shared one of the Civil Law questions on Wednesday, September 11. The question involved a scenario where Angelica Yulo, Carlos' mother, failed to deliver a gold wedding ring purchased by Chloe due to a typhoon. Manuel's post quickly gained widespread attention, receiving thousands of likes, shares, and comments.

The social media page "Klasik Titos and Titas of Manila" also commented on the question, jokingly asking who had included such a pop culture reference. Other online users shared additional Bar questions featuring the names of public figures like dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo and her sister, Shiela Guo, as well as characters from the popular film "Four Sisters and a Wedding."
This isn't the first time Bar questions have gone viral for their pop culture references. In 2022, questions featured names of BTS members, basketball stars, and famous films. Over 10,000 applicants are taking this year's Bar exam, with ages ranging from 23 to 78.
The Bar is a rigorous examination administered by the Supreme Court to assess aspiring lawyers' knowledge of legal principles and their ability to practice law in the Philippines.
