During its next@acer global press conference in Berlin, Acer showcased a groundbreaking gaming laptop concept known as Project DualPlay. While this innovative design is currently just a concept, it offers a glimpse into the future of portable gaming and highlights Acer's commitment to pushing the boundaries of gaming technology.
The gaming laptop concept features a detachable wireless controller, providing gamers with a more immersive experience for triple-A titles.
The controller doubles as a touchpad and can be easily released from the keyboard with a simple gesture. Additionally, two speakers pop out from the sides of the laptop when the controller is detached, enhancing the audio experience.
One of the most intriguing aspects of Project DualPlay is the ability to separate the controller into two parts, similar to the Nintendo Switch's Joy-Con controllers. This feature enables multiplayer gaming, allowing two players to enjoy titles like fighting games together.
While Project DualPlay is unlikely to enter production in its current form, it showcases Acer's innovative approach to gaming laptop design. Some of its unique features, such as the detachable controller and built-in speakers, may be incorporated into future high-end Acer Predator gaming laptops.
