Darren Espanto is expressing gratitude after fulfilling a lifelong dream by purchasing a Cadillac Escalade. The 23-year-old singer-actor showcased his new black SUV and shared a video of himself driving it on his Instagram page on September 4th.
"Made another big boy purchase!" he excitedly wrote in the caption. "Very grateful for all of God's blessings." Espanto recalled admiring his parents' Escalade as a child and having a long-standing appreciation for the luxury vehicle.
Fans and fellow celebrities were thrilled by Espanto's new acquisition. Bela Padilla jokingly suggested a road trip, while veteran singer Regine Velasquez expressed her pride and even requested a ride. In addition to his role as a performer on "ASAP Natin 'To," Espanto is also a host on the noontime show "It's Showtime."
Earlier this year, Espanto revealed that he underwent surgery for appendicitis, which forced him to cancel several performances, including a festival appearance in Samar.
