The highly anticipated launch of the iPhone 16 drew hundreds of eager customers to Power Mac Center stores across the Philippines. As early as Thursday evening, long lines formed outside the Greenbelt 3 branch in Makati City, with individuals eager to be among the first to own the latest Apple device.
Among the dedicated fans waiting in line was Lynn Anog, who had been trying to secure a spot at the front for several years. After missing out on the iPhone 14 and 15 launches, Anog finally achieved her goal of being the first customer in line for the iPhone 16.
Anog arrived at the Power Mac Center with her husband at 5 PM on October 15, determined to secure their place at the front of the queue. Her previous experience with iPhone launches had taught her the importance of arriving early, as she had previously been in the top 8 for the iPhone 10 and 11.
The excitement surrounding the iPhone 16 launch was palpable, with customers expressing their anticipation for the new features and improvements offered by the latest model.
As the clock ticked closer to midnight, the atmosphere grew more electric, with the crowd erupting in cheers as the first customers were welcomed into the store to purchase their highly sought-after devices.
