Andi Eigenmann's daughter, Lilo Alipayo, is making waves not just in the ocean but also in the competitive surfing scene! The five-year-old surfer recently received the Youngest Surfer Award at the third annual Mayor Sol's Invitational Surfing Cup held on October 7th in Siargao.
This recognition comes just a month after Lilo bravely participated in her first-ever surfing competition, the Pacifico Surf Competition, back in September. Her mom, Andi, documented the experience on her Instagram page, expressing her pride in Lilo's determination and love for the sport.
Lilo's passion for surfing seems to run in the family. Her father, Philmar Alipayo, is a champion surfer himself, and he even took home the top spot in the men's longboard category at the same event where Lilo received her award.
Social media buzzed with photos of Lilo receiving her award, shared by both the event organizers and her proud parents. The images captured not only Lilo's achievement but also the supportive and active lifestyle that Andi and Philmar have instilled in their children.
Earlier in September, Andi shared glimpses of Lilo's progress on the waves, showcasing her dedication and resilience as she tackled bigger waves with a smile. This dedication has become a part of their family routine, with Lilo often opting to start her day with a "surf sesh" alongside her father and their dogs.
Lilo's accomplishments extend beyond surfing. In July, the little adventurer celebrated her 5th birthday, surrounded by love from her family. Andi, a doting mom, expressed her immense pride in Lilo's adventurous spirit, kindness, and bright personality.
Currently residing in Siargao with her family, Andi has embraced the island life alongside Philmar. They have established themselves as business owners, operating a cafe and a surf shop – a perfect environment to nurture Lilo's love for the ocean and an active lifestyle.
