Two content creators in Cebu City caused a stir after a video of their antics on a national highway went viral. Dressed as Spiderman and Son Goku, the duo performed stunts deemed dangerous by authorities, raising concerns for their safety and that of other drivers.
The widely circulated video, captured by GMA News’ 24 Oras, showcased the pair engaging in reckless behavior inspired by their chosen superheroes.
One clip features Son Goku approaching vehicles with dramatic gestures, while another shows them "fighting" a masked assailant – blurring the lines between entertainment and recklessness.
According to The Freeman, the pair were actually part of a trio riding a large motorcycle with a sidecar during their highway performance. The third individual, dressed as Batman, did not appear when authorities later summoned the group.
The Highway Patrol Group in Central Visayas expressed their disapproval of the stunt and invited the content creators for questioning. While no charges were filed, authorities emphasized the potential dangers of such actions and received apologies from the duo.
It's important to note that Spiderman is a popular Marvel Comics character, while Son Goku is the protagonist of the legendary Japanese anime series Dragonball Z.
