Manila, Philippines – The highly-anticipated second day of BINI’s “Grand BINIverse” concert, originally scheduled for November 17, has been postponed due to the impending threat of Typhoon Pepito.
In a statement released by Star Music, the decision to move the concert to November 19 was made to prioritize the safety of both the performers and the audience.
“All tickets for the November 17 show will be honored on November 19 at the Araneta Coliseum,” the statement read. “Those who cannot attend on the new date may contact Ticketnet for a refund.”
Additionally, iWantTFC passes purchased for the November 17 livestream will remain valid for the rescheduled show.
The first day of the concert on November 16 and the third day on November 18 will proceed as planned.
A portion of the proceeds from the “Grand BINIverse” concert will be donated to the ABS-CBN Foundation to aid those affected by the typhoon.
As of Friday evening, Typhoon Pepito was packing maximum sustained winds of 150 kilometers per hour and was expected to make landfall in the Philippines over the weekend.
