The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has opened the application period for the March 2, 2025 Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT), which will run from November 19, 2024, to January 3, 2025.
The examination will be conducted nationwide across 92 testing centers in 16 regions to accommodate individuals seeking eligibility for first and second-level positions in the Philippine civil service.
Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. However, CSC regional and field offices may close their application intake earlier if the target number of applicants is reached. Please note that these offices will be suspended from December 16 to 27 for year-end reports and program evaluations.
To ensure availability of exam slots, applicants are advised to confirm with their local CSC office before submitting their applications.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for the CSE-PPT, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Filipino citizenship
- At least 18 years old on the application date
- Good moral character
- No prior conviction for crimes involving moral turpitude, disgraceful or immoral conduct, dishonesty, examination irregularity, drunkenness, or drug addiction
- Not dishonorably discharged from the military or dismissed for cause from a government position
- Not taken the same level of the career service examination within three months of the exam date
Application Process:
Applicants, regardless of educational background, can apply by submitting the following:
- A fully accomplished CS Form No. 100 (Revised 2023)
- Four passport-sized ID photos with handwritten name tags
- Original and photocopy of a valid government-issued ID
- Examination fee of P500
Applicants are encouraged to consult their respective CSC regional or field offices for specific filing procedures.
