PLDT is set to challenge Galeries Tower on Tuesday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo as they strive to climb to the top of the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference standings.
The High Speed Hitters are coming off a strong victory over Nxled, fueled by the return of Filipino-Canadian star Savi Davison and the impressive debut of rookie setter Angge Alcantara. Davison contributed 19 points, while Alcantara dished out 13 excellent sets.
"It was a good start, even though Savi just came back and Angge is new to the team," said PLDT coach Rald Ricafort.
Other key players for PLDT include Erika Santos, Majoy Baron, Fiona Ceballos, and Dell Palomata.
A win against the winless Galeries Tower would put PLDT on equal footing with Akari at the top of the league.
In the earlier match at 4 PM, Nxled and ZUS Coffee will face off, both looking to secure their first victory of the conference.
