#Walangpasok: Class suspensions on Friday, November 15 due to super typhoon Ofel

The Philippines is bracing for the impact of two powerful typhoons. Super Typhoon Ofel is expected to make landfall over eastern Cagayan or northern Isabela on Thursday afternoon, prompting class suspensions in affected areas.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Man-yi is gaining strength and could intensify into a super typhoon. It is projected to make landfall over Bicol on Saturday, November 16, and then traverse Central Luzon on Sunday, November 17.

In anticipation of Man-yi, Governor Luigi Villafuerte of Camarines Sur has announced the suspension of classes at all levels in both public and private schools on November 15.

  •  Cagayan: Signal No. 5 has been raised as Super Typhoon Ofel approaches.
  • Camarines Sur: All classes, public and private, have been suspended on November 15 in anticipation of Tropical Storm Man-yi.
