The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is dropping leaks faster than ever, and the latest batch isn't exactly reassuring. Two key rumors have emerged that raise concerns about the upcoming flagships, which are expected to launch within weeks.
First, a report from Yonhap News Agency (via @Jukanlosreve) suggests all three models – the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra – will likely carry a price bump compared to their predecessors. This isn't entirely surprising considering the rumored inclusion of the expensive Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
However, the report throws another potential curveball: manufacturing difficulties with the cheaper Exynos 2500 processor, making it less likely as an alternative. Additionally, the falling value of the South Korean won could further increase import costs for Samsung.
JoongAng.co.kr tries to quantify the price hike, suggesting an increase of around 150,000 won (roughly $105 / £80 / AU$165). This number might vary depending on the region, but it still paints a picture of potentially pricier Galaxy S25 devices.
