A hunt for the next Darna was announced after an unfortunate circumstances happened to Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano who backing out for the iconic role. Fans are suggesting different celebrities to replace to portray the iconic superhero role, but now, even themselves have the chance to be the next Darna.
Star Cinema through their Facebook page announced that they will be holding auditions open for all women who think that they will do the superhero role.
The audition will be on May 4 and 5 at 10:00 AM at the ABS-CBN audience entrance in Quezon City.
They are looking for 20-26 year old female, physically fit, has acting experience, fluent in tagalog, at least 5'5" in height and knows about contact sports.
The film is directed by Jerrold Tarog and Liza Soberano was originally slated to play the Pinay superhero created by Mars Ravelo.
