A Panay first survivor from coronavirus was wheeled out at The Medical City Iloilo hospital - where she was given emotional send-off by doctors and hospital staff.
The 61-year-old female patient was the third COVID-19 case in Western Visayas. After few weeks of being confined at the hospital, she made a complete recovery and was declared free from the virus after a repeated test.
The woman was filmed waving while hospital staff lined-up giving her applause and continue to cheer her up until outside of the hospital.
She has been discharged last April 3, 2020, and grateful to the whole TMC Iloilo community especially to the frontliners who took good care of her.
The patient's recovery brings hope and inspiration to all the frontliners of The Medical City.
