It was supposed to be a happy meal for the family as chicken is life especially for the kids. However, GMA News reported a horrible incident that happened to the young pinay named Zara Louise Lano in Kuwait who died from the alleged fried chicken she intake.
The family ordered a fried chicken online, and her mother Faye told GMA News that she started complaining to them when she noticed unusual to the chicken, like an old product. Then the family stopped their meal due to the awful taste of the chicken, which they started to feel ill.
“Habang kumakain kami, nagko-complain ako sa kanila, sabi ko parang hindi na maganda kasi yung chicken. Parang masyado nang oily, parang ininit na lang,” Faye Lano said.
They all went to the hospital for check up, both Zara and her mother was first to discharge from the hospital.
However, Zara's dad and her brother was remained in the hospital for further treatment. Subsequently, Faye and Sarah started to experience LBM and nausea - they were send again to the hospital. Faye was brought to the intensive care unit while Zara died last March 21 after the doctor declared her dead-on-arrival.
Zara was reportedly died due to respiration and septic shock as well as acute failure of blood circulation based on her death certificate. Zara's body have been repatriated to the Philippines and undergone re-autopsy as the family was planning to file charges against the fast-food chain if proven on the alleged food poisoning.
