After nine years as one of the top stars of GMA-7, Janine Gutierrez was rumored to leave the network for Kapamilya network (ABS-CBN).
Initial report says the 31-year-old award-winning star is set to sign contract with ABS-CBN on January 2021, after her contract with Kapuso Network expired last November 1, 2020.
Following her Best Actress award for her performance in the social drama-thriller "Babae at Baril" in Gawad Urian 2020, she also bagged the Best Actress awards at FAMAS Digital 2020 Awards last December 20 for her performance in the Rae Red's movie.
Janine has yet to issue a statement about the rumored transfer of network.
Meanwhile, Janine is now working with actor JC Santos for the new project "Dito at Doon," directed by JP Habac.
