BTS's Jimin and V graduated with awards at Global Cyber University

 The ARMY are rejoicing and sending congratulatory messages after they learned that BTS's members V and Jimmin have graduated from university.

The higher education institution Global Cyber University (GCU) based in South Korea posted the 2020 graduates on their website which include Jimin (Park Ji-min) and V (Kim Tae-hyung). 

"Congratulations to all graduates!

"No one knows how difficult it can be to work at home and at work while studying at the same time. I would like to express my deep gratitude and congratulations to the graduates graduating from such difficult studies.

"This degree conferment ceremony was held as an online live broadcast in accordance with the government's quarantine guidelines and the Ministry of Education guideline to prevent the spread of corona 19 infection.

"We hope that the current students also applaud the graduates for their congratulations and support. Thank you," the University statement read.

The two graduated last August with bachelor's degree in Entertainment & Media and they were awarded the university's President's Award. However, they were not able to attend the graduation ceremony held March 1, according to Soompi report.

The President's Award could be read as translated by Soompi, “As a model citizen who has taken the lead in practicing the university’s founding philosophy of nurturing global humanitarian individuals, this person has exerted a positive influence through sensitivity and communication, going beyond K-pop, and has conveyed the value of symbiosis, a value that the global world needs. This award is given in the hopes that this individual will contribute even more greatly to the world and the human society.” 

It was also reported that other BTS members RM, Suga, and J-Hope had graduated Masters in Business Administration (MBA) specialized in advertising and media in March 2019. Meanwhile, Jin, was also been enrolled at the university since 2017, while Jung Kook had graduated broadcasting and entertainment course at GCU.
