Pastor Apollo Quiboloy on Sunday once again warned the public of another worse than the current pandemic if "persecuting, prosecuting and maligning" him will not stop.
In a livestreamed video addressed to his followers, the self-proclaimed "son of God" said, "I told you, I'm telling you the truth, the day of the Lord is here. Do not ever ever play a joke or continue to pursue the prosecution of the appointed son because the father in heaven has already declared through the appointed son, no one can escape this."
"The way you treated the appointed son here, is the way this world is going to receive its judgement," he added.
He also claimed that the current pandemic is just a beginning and it will get worse.
"If you keep on hurting, persecuting, and harming the appointed son of the kingdom, you will see much worse that the Omicron virus."
"You might see in the future people walking, their flesh rotting away but they're still alive. Flesh-eating bacteria that are immune to any vaccine that will come."
Quiboloy and two other defendants was accused of recruiting females aged 12 to 25 as personal assistants, or "pastorals." In the 74-page US indictment alleged that the girls were recruited to prepare his meals, clean his residence, give him massage, and have sex with him.
"You want this to stop? Stop persecuting, prosecuting, maligning and falsely accusing the appointed son," he said.
"If you continue that, the world will suffer... The Delta virus variant of COVID-19 is only an introduction. If you keep on hurting, persecuting, and harming the appointed son and the kingdom, you will see much worse than the Omicron variant," he added.
