MAN IN SPIDER COSTUME JOINS BLACK NAZARENE WALK OF FAITH PROCESSION

A man in spider-Man costume appeared in the Black Nazarene 'Walk of Faith' early Sunday morning with estimated 88,000 devotees.

Spider-Man was spotted holding placards that reminds the public to observe health protocols.

The procession started from the Quirino Grandstand to Quiapo Church. The Walk of Faith appears to be more orderly than the traditional "Translacion" where people flock around the life-size statue of the Black Nazarene.

The procession lasted only more than two hours, beginning 1:30 am until at around 4:00 am, while the "Translacion" usually lasted around 22 hours.

After a long hiatus of the annual celebration of the Feast of Black Nazarene procession due to the pandemic that begins on December 31, the Manila Police District said that there's no untoward incident was reported during the Walk of Faith.
