Five local rescuers in Bulacan who went missing was found dead, authorities confirmed on Monday, September 26.
The rescuers was drowned in a flash flood in Barangay Camias in San Miguel, Bulacan, as Karding batters the Philippines on Sunday.
The victims are members of Bulacan Provincial Disaster RiskReduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).
Authorities said the remains of the five rescuers have already been brought to funeral homes.
While doing a rescue mission, a wall collapsed and hit them due to flash flood.
Around 2000 people in flooded areas in the province stayed in the evacuation centers.
