SM Entertainment has announced today that Taeil, a member of the K-pop group NCT, will be leaving the group following recent allegations of a sexual offense.
In a statement released on August 28, the agency confirmed that Taeil is currently under investigation by the police and is fully cooperating with the authorities.
"Given the serious nature of these allegations," SM Entertainment stated, "we have made the difficult decision to terminate Taeil's membership in NCT. Our priority is to ensure the well-being of all involved, and we will continue to monitor the situation closely."
