Atleast $1 Trillion worth of Natural Gas found in Liguasan Marsh, Maguindanao

Recently President Rodrigo Duterte lead the ceremonial valve opening for the oil and gas production of the Alegria Oil Field in Cebu. The president admitted that he shed tears after being overshelmed by the ceremonial opening of the oil field in Alegria.

Another blessing that will come in to the Philippines from Liguasan Marsh at Lake Bulan in Maguindanao where they discovered a huge deposit of natural gas. According to the 2nd district Rep. Zajid "Dong" Mangudadatu the natural gas is estimated to be $ 1 Trillion or equivalent to P52 trillion.


The Liguasan Marsh is said to be the next Dubai because of its huge natural gas deposit. The natural gas was discovered  on October 27, 2013 by fishpond workers who's looking for fresh water.

The Liguasan Marsh is abundant in methane gas and other gas reserve under the Lake Buluan in Maguindanao.

The reserved natural gas is estimated to have atleast 583 million barrel. According to Mangudadatu, the natural gas could possibly pay the debt of the Philippines worth P6.65 trillion.
