Years after he went viral for asking Erich Gonzales for a date through a billboard proposal, Xian has been sentenced with a five-year, six-month jail after found guilty of violating the Bouncing Check Law.
The Malabon Metropolitan Trial Court ruled that Xian was guilty of 11 counts pf violation of Bouncing Check Law(Batas Pambansa Blg.22) and has to pay the complainant over P2,180,000 and litigation costs, the inquirer reported.
According to his social media posts, "Karma is real. What you do now will come back to you in the future. Life has a funny way of making you deal with what you make others go through. Babalik at babalik din sayo lahat kaya magbago ka na habang hindi pa huli ang lahat kagaya ko."
