In Photos: Typhoon Mangkhut A.K.A Ompong Aftermath in Cagayan

Deadly typhoon Mangkhut A.k.a Ompong is causing heavy rain, rising floodwaters and severe winds as it batters Luzon and is now moving west towards China.

Atleast five million people were affected and thousands evacuated.

Here are some of the photos and videos collection after 24-hours typhoon Mangkhut battered Luzon.



The capital city of the north-eastern Cagayan province sustained damage to properties. As of September 15, 5:00PM, typhoon Ompong has weakened slightly as it moves in the West NorthWestWard Direction. Stormy weather is expected over the areas under TCWS #2 and #3. The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) enhanced by the typhoon will bring gusty winds with occasional moderate to heavy rains over Western Visayas and Mimaropa while scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains will experience over Bicol Region and Eastern and Central Visayas.
