List of Boracay hotels, resorts allowed to operate this October 2018

Boracay is back! As many travelers are hoping to be back in the paradise. Department of Tourism announced more resorts to operate when Boracay Island reopens on October 26.

Here are the list of 68 accredited hotels and establishment allowed to reopen, Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo Puyat said in a tweet.

The following establishments acquired the required permits from the Department of Interior and Local Government and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources(DENR) said that it has lifted the suspension of the environmental compliance certificates (ECCs) of complaint businessess on the island.Projects that are seen to have potential risks or impacts to the environment need to secure an ECC to be allowed to operate. The DENR in June suspended all ECCs in Boracay for a review, CNN Philippines reported.
