After an awful quickie went viral, brgy. chairman and treasurer in Dasmariñas, Cavite who were caught in a video call meeting having sex have resigned from their post, according to reports.
Jorge Magno, president of Dasmariñas City Association of Brgy. Captains confirmed that Fatima Dos Brgy. Captain Jesus Estil and Brgy. treasurer has filled their resignation.
“nagbitiw na po sa tungkulin. Pagkakaalam ko po (the barangay treasurer) nag-resign na rin po sa ikatatahimik po ng lahat. Humingi naman po si barangay chairman ng pasensya at pang-unawa ng lahat,” Magno said.
DILG spokesperson Jonathan Malaya also told Ted Failon on DZMM Teleradyo, “This is very unfortunate dahil napanood ng barangay and at the same time nangyari sa barangay hall.”
Witnesses have sent photos of barangay captain and treasurer doing their intimate moment prior to the zoom meeting.
Malaya added that they have already coordinated the incident to their regional offices and checked if any violations were made on the code of conduct for public officials.
