A nurse arriving for work delivered a baby in the sidewalk of busy street in Makati city before she gave to the responding medics.
The nurse, known as Loraine assisted the the homeless woman Jeka Rausa who was giving birth in a sidewalk on Tuesday, August 18.
“Si Nurse Loraine ang tumulong sa Bangkal Fire Emergency Rescue Disaster Support Team sa pagpapaanak sa pasyente,” one of the barangay officials told Pep.ph.
According to the barangay official who detailed a story, nurse 'Loraine' (not her real name) was probably at the shuttle pick-up point for nurses at the Osmeña Highway when she heard a commotion asking her to help a pregnant woman.
“Malamang, nag-aabang si Nurse Loraine ng shuttle nang makita niya ang commotion,” he added.
The amazing moment was captured in a footage the moment nurse Loraine assisted the woman who was giving birth. An ambulance arrived and immediately the mother and daughter was rushed to the 'Ospital of Makati'.
